Mohammad Matar

Mohammad Matar serves as the Head of Experience Excellence at NEOM since December 2018, where responsibilities include coordinating high-level events and site visits, managing relations with the Royal Court, and responding directly to the CEO’s requirements. Matar has directed over 200 site visits and multiple international government events, establishing effective processes for coordination, safety, and logistics. Prior experience includes roles such as Executive Events & Experience Manager at NEOM and Visits & Events Specialist at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, where Matar developed event procedures and provided official tours for VIPs. Matar's earlier career includes positions in event management and marketing for various companies, along with a degree in Thermal Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dublin.
