Mohammed Baroom currently serves as the Acting Head of Industrial Cybersecurity and Industrial Cybersecurity Manager at NEOM since February 2023. Previously, Mohammed worked at Saudi Aramco from January 2011 to January 2023 in various roles, including Process Automation Network Engineer and Control System Engineer. Responsibilities included configuring and implementing McAfee ePO policies, developing antivirus update strategies, and troubleshooting ePO agent issues, as well as implementing and configuring Splunk for automated reporting. Mohammed also developed standardized operations instructions for control system security and a disaster recovery plan for control systems. Mohammed holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Umm Al-Qura University, earned from 2005 to 2009.
