Moses Shimba

Moses Shimba is an international expert in sustainable finance and environmental management, currently serving as the Biodiversity Manager for NEOM, where they oversee ecological impact assessments and biodiversity actions in alignment with IFC Performance Standards. Moses has extensive experience as a Principal Biodiversity Consultant, working with various organizations on Environmental and Social Impact Assessments across multiple sectors, including renewable energy and infrastructure development. They hold a Master's degree in Marine Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Wildlife and Wildlands Science and Management from the University of Dar es Salaam. Previously, Moses played key roles in significant projects, contributing to the ecological integrity of environments in Tanzania and beyond.
