Muhammad Waqas is a British-qualified senior finance leader with over 14 years of experience in financial management and strategic planning. Currently serving as the Senior Finance Business Partner and Sector Finance Lead for Health & Wellbeing at NEOM, Waqas is responsible for overseeing a SAR 30 billion multi-year transformation programme. Previously, Waqas held various significant roles, including Management Accountant at McKesson and Financial Planning and Analysis Manager at BT, where they demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial governance. Waqas holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Peshawar and is a fellow of the ACCA.
