Murray Mueller

Murray Mueller is the Director of Grid Operations at NEOM, where they are responsible for the leadership and strategic direction of a fully integrated grid operations focused on renewable energy in Saudi Arabia. Since 2023, Murray has spearheaded the establishment of a new Grid Operations department, overseeing a multi-million-dollar budget and developing a comprehensive control and monitoring strategy. Prior to this, they held various leadership roles at the Alberta Electric System Operator (AESO) from 2008 to 2011, where they managed real-time operations, directed operations systems, and contributed significantly to compliance and operational improvements. Murray's educational background includes a B.S. in Engineering Technology and ongoing studies for a Master of Science in Information Security Management.
