Pablo Blanco Rodríguez, PhD, currently serves as Research Technology Manager at NEOM, where responsibilities include developing a testing framework for LDES systems and evaluating project opportunities for industrial-scale implementations. Prior experience includes roles at Masdar, where Pablo held positions such as Technology Lead and Senior Expert, overseeing engineering objectives and managing projects related to clean energy technologies. Pablo's expertise in thermal energy storage systems was further honed as R&D Project Manager at Masdar Institute and through various research roles at CIC Energigune and Forschungszentrum Julich. A Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering was obtained from Mondragon Unibertsitatea, complemented by advanced studies in civil engineering and environmental sustainability at Centrale Nantes.
