Pierre Viljoen

Pierre Viljoen is a seasoned professional in commercial management and engineering with extensive experience in the construction and project management sectors. Currently serving as Senior Commercial Manager at NEOM since October 2022, Pierre was previously with AECOM from September 2020 to January 2023 in a similar role, managing procurement strategies and contract activities across various models. With a strong background at AECOM spanning nearly a decade in leadership positions, including Operations Director for Continental Europe and Operations Lead for Africa, Pierre demonstrated expertise in strategic development and large-scale change initiatives. Prior experience at BKS Group involved overseeing multidisciplinary teams and significant projects, including the Kusile Power Station. Pierre holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, both from Stellenbosch University.
