Rob Ruse

Rob Ruse is an experienced professional with a diverse background in multi-discipline and multi-sector operations, particularly in the Middle East. Currently serving as Director at NEOM since December 2019, previous positions include Associate Director at Arup from March 2014 to December 2019 and Managing Director at Atkins from 1990 to February 2014. Ruse has held various leadership roles in project management, design, and engineering, notably for major developments like the Burj Al Arab and across different regions, including Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, London, and China. Ruse's career began as an Electrical Engineer at the Department of the Environment from 1978 to 1990, following a BEng in Electrical Electronic from the University of Plymouth (1987-1990).
