Rubens Albuquerque is a seasoned logistics and port operations expert with extensive experience in managing diverse aspects of shipping, supply chain, and procurement. Currently serving as Port Operations Manager at NEOM since May 2023, Rubens oversees vessel and cargo operations while leading multicultural teams and ensuring safe operations through comprehensive root cause analysis and incident management. Previous roles include Port Planning and Resources Manager at NEOM, Logistics Expert at Emirates Steel Arkan, and Export and Logistics Coordinator at Vallourec, among others. Rubens has a solid background in developing strategic logistics initiatives, enhancing supply chain performance, and coordinating complex logistics operations across various industries.
