Sammy Blay

Sammy Blay is a seasoned professional in the energy sector with a focus on renewable energy, flexibility solutions, and market design. Currently serving as the Acting Flexibility Director at NEOM since February 2021, Sammy leads initiatives aimed at achieving a 100% net zero energy system. Previously held roles include Senior Manager for Energy at NEOM, Senior Transactions Manager at Pexapark, and Strategic Origination Manager at Reactive Technologies Limited. Sammy's extensive experience also encompasses strategic client management at RWE npower and foundational roles in sales and data analysis. Sammy is a board member of the Long Duration Energy Storage Council and holds an MBA from Imperial College Business School, along with a Master of Science in Operations Research with Risk from The University of Edinburgh.
