Simon Leadbetter

Simon Leadbetter is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data privacy and compliance across various sectors. Currently serving as the Director of the Data Privacy Programme at NEOM since 2019, Simon leads the development of data privacy regulations and the establishment of a compliance program for NEOM Company. Prior to this role, Simon was a Senior Program Manager at Accenture from 2016 to 2019, where a center of excellence for data privacy was created, and protocols were implemented globally. Simon's career at Accenture also included roles in project management and compliance, with a notable focus on healthcare projects. An experienced solicitor from 1995 to 2001, Simon's academic qualifications include certifications in data privacy from the International Association of Privacy Professionals and The London School of Economics, among other credentials in law, business, and project management.
