Steven Hale

Steven Hale is an experienced engineering leader with a career focused on innovation, design, and construction. After beginning their journey as a radio officer in the merchant navy, they transitioned into electrical and electronic engineering, graduating from London South Bank Polytechnic. Steven has led impactful projects, including the redevelopment proposals for Battersea Power Station and the Medway Tunnel. Currently, they serve as the Director of Engineering Innovations at NEOM in Saudi Arabia, where they guide a team dedicated to transformative engineering solutions. Steven has also held leadership roles in various organizations, including founding Crofton Consulting and serving on the board of the Association for Consultancy and Engineering.
