Stewart Thompson

Stewart Thompson currently serves as the Executive Director of Privacy, Data Governance, and AI at NEOM, a position held since November 2023. Previously, Stewart was the Chief Data Protection Officer at Binance from June 2022 to December 2023, and prior to that, held multiple director roles in data protection at Meta and Facebook from December 2020 to July 2022. With extensive experience in data protection and governance, Stewart was the Group Data Protection Officer at IAC Applications and held key positions at IBM Watson Health, St. Vincent's University Hospital, and Mortgages Direct Limited. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Computer Science from Trinity College Dublin and certification as a Data Protection Practitioner from the Irish Computer Society.
