Toby Smart

Toby Smart currently serves as the Process Control Lead at NEOM since December 2024. Prior to this role, Toby held various positions at Victoria International Container Terminal, including Control Room Supervisor, where responsibilities involved leading teams in automated equipment operations, collaborating with maintenance and IT departments, and ensuring terminal-wide productivity. As an Automated Equipment Coordinator, Toby oversaw control room operations and managed advanced equipment, focusing on productivity optimization. Toby began the career as an Operations Team Member, specializing in process optimization and logistics coordination. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management from the University of Melbourne and a Victorian Certificate of Education from St Leonard's College.
