Tom Burkitt

Tom Burkitt is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in environmental management and risk resilience. Currently serving as Senior Manager for Reserve Protection and Resilience at NEOM, Tom has held significant leadership roles including Country Director for AESG in KSA and multiple positions at DHI where responsibilities included consulting on risk and resilience and leading disaster risk assessment projects. Previous roles encompass climate risk adaptation specialist at WSP, and country director for Brunei Darussalam at MWH Global, where Tom led environmental projects. Tom's early career included project management and coordination roles in various organizations. Tom holds a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Oxford and an MSc in Marine Environmental Protection from Bangor University.
