Seung Woo

Seung Woo is an Associate Director of Biology at Neomorph, bringing over 10 years of experience in drug discovery across various disease areas such as obesity, fibrosis, and cancer. They have a proven track record in early target discovery and validation, leveraging a deep understanding of RNA processing and high throughput drug screening. Seung made notable contributions to postdoctoral research on Piezo ion channels, which played a significant role in the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 2021. Their previous positions include Principal Scientist at Takeda and several exploratory roles at GNF and Scripps Research. Seung holds a Ph.D. from Columbia University and a combined BA/MS from Johns Hopkins University.
