Arooj Dar

Arooj Dar has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Arooj is currently working as a Compliance Officer at Neonomics since March 2023. Prior to this role, Arooj worked as a Manager at EY from October 2021 to June 2022. Arooj also served as a Senior Associate at BDO Norge from February 2019 to October 2021. Arooj's previous experience includes working as an Internal Auditor at SEB from November 2015 to February 2019. Arooj started their career as an Advisor for Business Customers at Gjensidige from September 2014 to November 2015, where they provided advisory services to SMEs on pension solutions, asset management, and regulatory compliance. Before that, Arooj worked as a Consultant at SpareBank 1 from January 2012 to September 2013. Overall, Arooj has developed expertise in compliance, auditing, consulting, and advisory roles throughout their career.

Arooj Dar pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting in 2008 when they enrolled at Oslo and Akershus University College. Arooj completed their Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance in 2011. Following this, they decided to further enhance their knowledge and skills and pursued a Master of Arts in International Business and Management at the University of Westminster from 2013 to 2014. During this program, they focused on Global Financial Markets and Information Systems. Continuing with their academic journey, Arooj Dar attended BI Norwegian Business School from 2017 to 2018, where they undertook a degree in Internal Auditing. Throughout this program, they concentrated on the study of Governance, Risk Management, and Internal Management & Control.
