Jörg Schmidt

Jörg Schmidt began their career in 1997 as a Manager for Audit and Advisory Business Services at Ernst & Young Germany. In 2006, they joined EY as an Executive Director for Assurance Services, leading audits of financial statements of multinational Groups prepared in accordance with IFRS, US-GAAP and Swiss local GAAP. Jörg also worked on various advisory and consultancy projects in the area of financial accounting and reporting, including GAAP conversions, capital market transactions and internal controls over financial reporting. Jörg was also a Senior Manager for Wirtschaftsprüfer. In 2017, they became the CFO and Co-Founder of kineo finance AG, and in 2020 they took on the role of CFO at NeoPrediX AG.

Jörg Schmidt obtained their Dipl.-Wirtsch.-Ing. from the Technische Universität Darmstadt in 1996. In 2002, they received their Steuerberater (Certified Tax Advisor, Germany) from the Steuerberaterkammer. In 2004, they earned their Wirtschaftsprüfer (German public auditor) from the Wirtschaftsprüferkammer. In 2008, they were awarded their Zugelassener Revisionsexperte (Licensed audit expert) from the Federal Audit Oversight Authority (FAOA) of Switzerland. In 2009, they completed their Diploma in IFRS Accountant from the Swiss Accountancy Academy.
