Sumayya A.

Sumayya A. is an accomplished Brand Art Director with extensive experience in graphic design and mentorship. Currently serving at Neoscape since February 2017, Sumayya has held roles as both Brand Art Director and Senior Graphic Designer. In addition, Sumayya operates a personal design firm since September 2015, providing expertise as a Senior Graphic Designer and Art Director. As a mentor in the AIGA NY early career mentorship program since January 2024, Sumayya supports emerging designers. Previous experience includes positions at 360i, Grey Group, Stag&Hare, Viacom, Barton F. Graf, and Ralph Appelbaum Associates, as well as instructing graphic design at Shillington Education. Sumayya holds an MFA in Design from the School of Visual Arts and a BA in Visual Communication from the American University of Sharjah, complemented by culinary training from the International Culinary Center and additional studies at General Assembly.
