NepaliPatra is the leading Nepalese news portal in the UK, Nepal, and Australia - offering up to date local and Nepali news to Nepalese residents, that together make up an average readership of almost 200,000.

NeplaiPatra was initially established as the first weekly colour newspaper to be published in the UK, in the Nepali language - and to be distributed throughout Europe. Now, due to the high demand for digital content - and it’s rise in popularity over printed news, NepaliPatra has fully moved to a digital platform, and became an online news portal. Since this transition in 2019, it has expanded its reach and become popular amongst Nepali diaspora across the globe.

The newspaper covers a wide range of issues including politics, British and European community news, Nepali news, interviews, literature, children's education, sports, and entertainment. And in covering such a wide range of topics, NepaliPatra aims to be unique in the Nepali newspaper market, and provide something for readers of all tastes.

Due to a recent legislation giving Gurkhas the right to stay in the UK, there has been a growth in the Nepalese community - adding to the already increasing population of entrepreneurs and students who have come to the UK to study. Now the newspaper has also been expanded to Australia, in order to cater to the growing Nepalese community in the country.
