Riester has over 25 years of experience in MedTech and high-tech. Riester is the Chief Executive Officer of Nephrolyx, translating groundbreaking science into a scalable kidney diagnostics business and guiding strategy and partnerships. Riester is owner and managing director of maristechcon and serves as a startup mentor for HIGH-TECH.NRW, a partner at InvestorenNetzwerk Wiesbaden, and a general partner at meisterwerk ventures. Riester previously co-founded midge medical GmbH (2016–2022) and led Multiphoton Optics (2013–2014). Riester earned the IMD Executive Coach certification in 2023.
