Daniel Hanson

Director at NERA Economic Consulting

Daniel Hanson is currently the Director at NERA Economic Consulting. Prior to that, they were with PwC for over 20 years, where they were the Director of Economics and led the Firm's Strategy and Economics work in Transport and Infrastructure. Daniel has also advised clients in most sectors of the economy on reviews by competition authorities and economic regulators.

Before joining PwC, Daniel worked at the Caribbean Development Bank as a Country Economist and Consultant Country Economist. Daniel developed the Bank's strategy in relation to various of its Borrowing Member Countries, appraised various projects that were to be financed by the Bank, carried out economic monitoring activies including taking part in IMF Article IV consultations, and led Special Projects such as an economic assessment of what the impact would have been if Nevis were to secede from its federation with St Kitts.

Daniel is also a Fellow of the Overseas Development Institute.

Daniel Hanson studied economics at the University of Bristol, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree. Daniel then went on to earn a Master of Science (MSc) in economics from the University of Warwick.

They work with Richard Marsden - Managing Director, Jorge Baez - Director, and James Mellsop - Managing Director. Their manager is Lawrence Wu, President.
