James Smith

James Smith is an accomplished IT professional with over a decade of leadership experience in managing complex IT projects and teams. Currently serving as Head of IT at Nerdify since September 2015, James oversees the IT department, handles project coordination, and enforces technical standards to ensure application maintainability. Previously, as Head of IT Department at Intacct Corporation, James directed the development of technology solutions aligned with organizational goals while managing IT personnel. James also held positions as IT Manager at IBM, focusing on policy development and system integration, and as Network Engineer at Lockheed Martin, supervising network operations. James holds a Master’s Degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, attained in 2008.
