Craig Bennett

Craig Bennett is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and cognitive neuroscience. Currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at NerdWallet since November 2020, Craig leads the Core Engineering group to support the company's mission of providing financial clarity. Previously, Craig held roles at Amazon as Software Development Manager III, enhancing the capabilities of the Alexa digital assistant, and at Graphiq Inc. as Software Engineering Lead prior to its acquisition by Amazon. Craig's earlier career includes significant contributions at Wyatt Technology, advancing software for scientific instruments, and academic research in cognitive neuroscience at both the University of California, Santa Barbara and Dartmouth College, where a PhD was earned. Craig Bennett holds a BS in Cognitive Psychology from The University of Kansas.
