Leonardo Saavedra

Leonardo Saavedra is a skilled Linux and HPC sysadmin with extensive experience in datacenter management and Linux/Unix operating systems. They served as a Unix/Linux system administrator at Universidad del Bio-Bio from 1988 to 2003, and later held roles including IT Manager at ADP and HPC Storage Infrastructure Engineer at NERSC, where they contributed to high-performance storage and shared computing resources. Currently, they are the Treasurer for OpenSFS, a nonprofit organization promoting the Lustre file system. Leonardo holds multiple degrees from Universidad del Bío Bío, demonstrating a strong foundation in engineering and information technology.
