Stephen Simms is currently an HPC Architecture and Performance Engineer for the Advanced Technology Group at the National Energy Research Scientific Computing Center (NERSC). Prior to this role, they managed high-performance file systems and staff at Indiana University Bloomington from 2005 to 2023. Stephen holds a Master's degree in Music Composition from Roosevelt University and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Music from Wabash College.
