John Ruffolo

John Ruffolo is an accomplished entrepreneur and private equity expert, currently serving as the Founder and Managing Partner of Maverix Private Equity since January 2019. In addition to leading Maverix, John co-founded and acts as Vice Chair for the Council of Canadian Innovators, supporting the scaling of high-growth Canadian technology firms. As Co-Founder and Chair of AI Partnerships Corp, and a board member for organizations such as Viral Nation, CIBC Foundation, NervGen Pharma Corp., OneEleven, engineering.com, Ether Capital, and the former Continuum Residential REIT, John demonstrates extensive involvement in technology and investment sectors. John holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the Schulich School of Business at York University, earned between 1984 and 1988.
