Raymond Mooney

Raymond Mooney currently serves as the Regional Training Manager at Northeast Security Inc. since July 2025. Previously, from August 2019 to August 2025, Raymond held dual roles as the Merrimack College Police Academy Director and Professor of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Merrimack College. A retired Sergeant from the Woburn Police Department, Raymond's extensive 31-year career included supervisory roles in various divisions such as Patrol, Detective, and Vice/Narcotics, along with responsibilities as a Network Administrator. Raymond was also the President/Bandmaster of IAPOA Pipes and Drums from 2014 to 2017 and co-owned Clarity Investigations from 2012 to 2015. Additionally, Raymond served as a Police Academy Instructor for the MPTC from 1999 to 2006, specializing in Interview and Interrogation, Report Writing, and Narcotics. Raymond holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Merrimack College, a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice from Western New England University, and pursued ongoing education at Babson College in Law Enforcement Supervision.
