Ryan Whelchel has extensive experience in technical direction and video production within the broadcasting industry. Currently serving as Director at NESN since October 2019, Ryan previously held the position of Technical Director at CBS6-WRGB from April 2017 to September 2019, where responsibilities included managing Ross Overdrive. Additional roles include Technical Director for NTV News under Sinclair Broadcast Group, overseeing productions for "Good Morning Nebraska" and "Good Life," and Technical Director at 120 Sports, utilizing the Ross Video Vision 2.5 MLE Switcher. Ryan's early career involved media services for the Northern Illinois University football team, video production roles with the Rockford IceHogs and Rockford RiverHawks, and education with a BS in Communication from Northern Illinois University.
