Codrina Cretu

Codrina Cretu is a professional with extensive experience in research, analysis, and policy advocacy, currently serving as a Mission Manager at Nesta since April 2018, focusing on reducing household emissions in the UK. Previous roles at Nesta include Senior Analyst and Researcher, where Codrina contributed to various initiatives, including the Upstream Collaborative aimed at local government innovators. Prior to Nesta, Codrina held positions such as Research Communicator at Research Retold and Research Assistant at the Sheffield Political Economy Research Institute, with a focus on youth political issues in Europe. Additional experience includes work as a Subscriber Support Officer at Care Opinion, a research project in Indonesia with the International Land Coalition, and various internships in media and university communications. Codrina holds an MSc in Environmental Change and International Development and a BA in Politics and International Relations from the University of Sheffield.
