Ruby Mercer

Ruby Mercer is currently the Policy Events Programme Lead at Nesta, having joined in 2025. Prior to this role, they served as Senior Conference Producer and Event Programme Manager at Ocean Media Group Ltd., where they contributed to the housing sector through conferences and publications. Ruby gained extensive experience as a Conference Producer and Event Coordinator at AKJ Associates from 2018 to 2021, managing content and logistics for global events. Before that, Ruby worked as an Events Officer at the University of Nottingham Students' Union from 2014 to 2018. They are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies and History at the University of Nottingham while participating in an exchange program at York University.
