Solomon Yu

Solomon Yu is a Data Engineer with experience at Nesta since October 2022 and previously at Bede Gaming and Generation UK & Ireland. Solomon's expertise in data science and engineering was developed through a competitive bootcamp, leading to proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code CI/CD pipelines and cloud migration to AWS. Solomon has a track record of empowering colleagues from diverse backgrounds and fostering a growth mindset. Prior roles include serving as an Academic Representative at The University of Sheffield and undertaking a summer internship at Sinotech Communication Ltd., where Solomon honed strong problem-solving and communication skills. Solomon earned a BEng in Materials Science and Engineering from The University of Sheffield, complemented by A Levels from Beechen Cliff School and an IB from Island School.
