Simone Heideman

Simone Heideman is an experienced data scientist currently serving as Lead in both Process AI and Intelligent Business Processes at Neste since February 2022. In this versatile role, Simone manages responsibilities related to Business Process Analytics and the Enterprise AI portfolio. Prior to this, Simone contributed to the Internal Audit department of Coöperatie VGZ as a Data Scientist, where efforts were focused on automating and scaling data analysis. Simone's career includes a Young Professional position in Data Analytics at Breinstein and a postdoctoral research role in Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Oxford, where a DPhil was earned. The doctoral research involved large time-series datasets exploring the dynamics of brain and behavior and culminated in a thesis and several publications. Earlier educational achievements include a Master of Science in Research Master Cognitive Neuroscience and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Radboud University, as well as a VWO diploma from Ulenhofcollege.
