Yoan Leyris has a long and varied work experience. Yoan began their career in 2006 as a Hardware and Software Developer/Co-Founder for ExperiensS, a R&D lab. In 2007, they became a Lecturer at both the Université Paris VIII and Ecole Centrale d'Electronique. In 2011, they became the CEO of Bytes and Cookies, a company specializing in electronic design. In 2014, they became a Software Developer for Dental Monitoring/H42, a company specializing in orthodontics follow-up. In 2015, they began working as a Freelance R&D Engineer, designing a special machine for automated bee grafting. In 2017, they became a Senior Embedded Engineer for Kolibree, an IoT developer for connected toothbrushes. In 2018, they became the Chief Technical Officer for Kaertech - Makers of Connected Objects, where they were responsible for global hardware and software architecture, low-level drivers, fail-safe state machines, pre-certification and RF tuning, power consumption optimization, code audits, unit testing and integration testing, as well as mentoring engineers on best hardware and software practices. Finally, in 2020, they became the Director of Embedded Software Development and Senior Embedded Software Engineer for Nestwave.
Yoan Leyris began their educational journey in 2003 when they attended ECE. Ecole d'ingénieurs. Engineering School. where they obtained an Engineer degree in Embedded System in 2006. In 2004, they attended Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers for Elementary aerodynamics and boundary layers. Finally, in 2005 they obtained a Master 2 degree in Architecture and Design of Integrated System from Université Paris VI.
