Michael Powell is a cybersecurity professional with nearly two decades of experience, currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer and vCISO at Net at Work, where they lead security strategy and governance for diverse clients. They have held various leadership roles, including UK Cyber Security Ambassador for the Department for Business and Trade and Specialist Cyber Representative at the British Embassy in Washington. Michael has a strong technical background, holding certifications such as CISSP and Associate CCISO, and is involved in promoting cybersecurity awareness through public-private partnerships. Additionally, they are a National Member of InfraGard National Members Alliance and have contributed to cybersecurity education as an Advisory Board Member at Ithaca College.
