Austin Lin

Austin Lin is an experienced professional with a strong background in information security and event organization. Currently serving as an Associate at Net Force since March 2022, Austin monitors network traffic and conducts vulnerability scans for major infrastructure. Simultaneously, as Lead Event Organizer at Converge, Austin oversees coordination with industry leaders, manages conference strategies, and acts as an on-site manager. Previously, as Vice President of Forensics And Security Technology at Cal Poly FAST, Austin negotiated contracts, led research teams, and played a key role in developing a Capture the Flag competition. Austin also maintained the organization’s website as a Website Administrator. Austin holds a degree in Computer Information Systems with a focus on Information Security and Forensics from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, graduated in 2021.
