Bill Ross

Bill Ross is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in propulsion systems and test engineering. Currently serving as the Head of Test Engineering at Net Power since April 2025, Bill leads testing operations at the La Porte Demonstration Plant. Prior roles include Senior Director and Interim Director of Test at Venus Aerospace, along with significant management responsibilities at Spaceflight Inc. and Blue Origin. Bill's career began at GE Energy, where notable contributions included advanced combustion aerothermal engineering and testing for various propulsion systems. Academic credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and a Master’s degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
