Markos Manolopoulos has a diverse range of work experience. In 2016, they spent time as a Young Professional visiting the UN in Geneva as part of a Study Group. Markos also volunteered as a Mentor for the Shine Project from 2015 to 2017, working to improve the literacy rates of disadvantaged children. In 2020, Markos co-founded eQuality Tutoring, a circular tutoring business aimed at tackling education inequality. Markos also worked as a Renewable Energy Analyst at Hellenic Petroleum Upstream, where they researched and analyzed the environmental regulatory frameworks of the offshore Oil and Gas industry and Offshore Wind Farms. Markos was a Writer at Juncture: The University of Manchester Undergraduate Politics Journal, publishing an essay on alternative development in South America. Markos also worked as Fundraising Operations and a Renewable Energy Intern at EcoSwell, raising funds and promoting projects related to sustainability. Markos's most recent role was as a Writer at THE CLIMATE, where they contributed content. Currently, Markos works as a Marketing Executive at Net Purpose, assisting investors with launching and reporting on sustainable and impact funds.

Markos Manolopoulos began their education in 2013 at Highgate School, where they completed their A levels in English Literature (pre-U) with a D2 grade, Modern History with an A* grade, and Economics with an A grade. Markos continued their education at The University of Manchester from 2018 to 2022, pursuing a degree in BSocSc Politics and International Relations. During their time at the university, their field of study focused on International Development and Environmental Politics.
