Mirka Karra has a diverse work experience. Mirka is currently working as a Brand Journalist at NET2GRID, where they focus on content marketing with a journalistic approach, organizes and coordinates exhibition preparations and logistics, and manages social media platforms. Prior to this, Mirka served as a Schuman Trainee DG Communication at the European Parliament Liaison Office in Greece. In this role, they engaged with stakeholders, created content for online media, conducted reporting and analytics, and assisted in the organization of various projects. Mirka also has experience as a Customer Service and Community Assistant at 18-24 Travel, a Social Media and Events Assistant at Service Civil International (SCI), a Trainee at the Hellenic Institute of Cultural Diplomacy, and a Researcher at the Public Opinion Research Unit UoM.

Mirka Karra began their education in 2014, when they enrolled at the University of Macedonia. Mirka pursued a Bachelor's degree in International and European Studies, completing their studies in 2018. In 2017, they had the opportunity to participate in the Erasmus+ Mobility Program at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where they focused on Political Science and Sociology.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Mirka Karra pursued further education at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). From 2021 to 2023, they pursued a Master's degree in Digital Media, Communication, and Journalism.

In addition to their formal education, Mirka has also obtained several certifications. In 2018, they received a certificate from the U.S. Department of State for completing the American Studies Seminar on "The Use of Soft Power in Diplomatic Relations and Foreign Policy." In 2019, they obtained a certificate in "Rights5x: Digital Security and Human Rights" from Amnesty International. In 2020, they obtained an IELTS certificate from the British Council. In 2021, they obtained certifications in "Environmental Journalism: Why Local Matters | Storytelling" from the Thomson Reuters Foundation and "Introduction to Communication Science" from the University of Amsterdam. Mirka has also completed a course in "Graphic Design Basics" from Canva, although specific information about the month and year of completion is not provided.
