Rom Tarshish is an experienced agronomist currently working in Digital Farming at Netafim since April 2022. Prior to this role, Rom served as an agronomist at Manna Irrigation from March 2021 to May 2022. Academic experience includes serving as a teaching assistant in Fundamental Genetics and Weed Control Principles at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem's Robert H. Smith Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment from October 2019 to March 2021, and as a research assistant focused on sesame molecular and classical breeding from September 2016 to September 2018. Additional roles include technician at RST CleanTech Solutions (August 2014 - September 2015) and logistics manager for the Israel Ministry of Defense (November 2012 - April 2013). Rom holds an M.Sc. in Remote Sensing and a Bachelor of Science in Plant Sciences and Agriculture, both from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
