David Dwyer has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. David started their career at Overclockers UK in 2003, where they worked as a Technical Support representative, providing support to external customers via telephone and email, handling third-party returns, and assisting with PC hardware installation. In 2006, David joined Vista Retail Support as an IT System Administrator and later transitioned to the role of EPoS - Field Server Engineer. David then became an EPoS - Field Service Engineer in 2011, responsible for on-site troubleshooting and maintenance. In 2014, David was promoted to Team Leader - Field Service Engineer, managing a team of 10 engineers and handling escalations. In 2019, they joined Comms-care as a Wireless Network Engineer. In 2021, David joined Vista as a Technical Services Manager, and in 2022, they started working at NetAlly as a Technical Support Specialist.
David Dwyer attended Whitby County High from 1993 to 2000, where they studied subjects such as Maths, English, German, GNVQ IT, GNVQ Business, and Geography. David did not obtain a degree from this institution. Additionally, David Dwyer has obtained several certifications throughout their education and career. In 2016, they obtained the CWTS - Certified Wireless Technology Specialist certification from CWNP and the Certified Wireless Network Administrator certification from Certitrek Group. Most recently, in 2020, they obtained the CCNA (200-301) Cert Prep: Network Fundamentals and Access certification from LinkedIn. David is also currently pursuing the Certified Wireless Design Professional certification from Certitrek Group, which they are expected to obtain in 2023.
