Walter Boyd

Walter Boyd has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Walter currently works at NetAlly as a Technical Support Engineer, starting in February 2021. Before that, they were employed at Oracle as a Senior Technical Support Engineer from July 2017 to February 2021. Prior to Oracle, Walter worked at NETSCOUT as a Technical Support Engineer from November 2015 to July 2017.

Before starting their career in technical support, Walter held positions in logistics and the military. Walter worked as a Material Handler II at Quantum from July 2008 to January 2014, and as a Material Handler/Warehouse Clerk at BAX Global from April 2006 to January 2008. Walter also served in the US Army as an Infantry Sergeant from January 1999 to January 2006.

Additionally, Walter gained experience as a Shipping Manager at Maharishi Ayurveda Products International, Inc. from May 1998 to November 1998.

Walter Boyd's education history includes a Master of Science (MS) degree in Management: Information Systems Security, which they obtained from Colorado Technical University in the year 2013. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degree in Computer Systems Security from the same university, starting in 2009 and graduating in 2012. Additionally, between the years 1996 and 2007, Walter attended Pikes Peak State College, earning an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Criminal Justice-Investigations/Management.

In terms of certifications, Walter obtained the Certified Wireless Specialist (CWS) certification from CWNP in April 2022. Walter also holds the Security+ certification from CompTIA, which they obtained in January 2015.
