Arul Valan

Arul Valan is an accomplished Senior Engineer at NetApp since December 2008, specializing in Application Lifecycle Operations, Secure Multi-tenancy Architecture, and the development of Authentication/Authorization architecture. Key responsibilities include architecting SVM context, managing non-disruptive operations and upgrades within SVM infrastructure, and integrating management protocols with ONTAP. Prior to joining NetApp, Arul Valan served as a Project Manager at Tata Elxsi and StorageTek from December 2003 to December 2006. Arul Valan holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), alongside education from PSG College of Technology.
