Eric Syu

Eric Syu is an experienced attorney with over a decade of expertise advising technology companies on legal issues, particularly in intellectual property. Their primary practice includes patent litigation across various courts, including the federal district court and the International Trade Commission. Eric has held positions at prestigious law firms such as Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP and Ropes & Gray LLP, and currently serves as the Director of Legal in the Product & IP Group at NetApp. They hold both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School. An avid Linux user, Eric also has a keen interest in home automation.
