Iman Jefferson

Iman Jefferson is the Head of Employee Communications and Engagement at NetApp, a position held since July 2023. Prior to this role, Iman served as the Head of External Relations and Internal Communications at Nextdoor from March 2021 to June 2023, focusing on strategic communication narratives to enhance employee engagement and managing executive thought leadership. With experience at General Motors, Iman was Head of East Region Communications for Buick, GMC, and Cadillac, where innovative storytelling and executive visibility improved brand reputation. Iman’s earlier roles include Communications Manager at U.S. Cellular, Global Internal Communications Manager at The Martin-Brower Company, and various positions in public relations. Iman holds a BA in Journalism from Lincoln University of Missouri and completed the New York Times Student Journalism Institute in 2006.
