Michael Johnson

Michael Johnson is an experienced professional in the semiconductor and electronic design automation (EDA) sectors, serving as the Field Sales CTO and EDA/Semiconductors and HPC Architect at NetApp since October 2014. In this role, Michael leads the EDA/Semiconductor and DevOps sales verticals, leveraging a diverse background in software development and automation to deliver valuable solutions for customers. Prior to NetApp, Michael held various positions, including Director of Technical Field Operations at Atrenta, where leadership resulted in significant sales growth, and roles at Cadence Design Systems, Equator Technologies, TransEDA, and Philips Semiconductors, focusing on technical operations, verification processes, and application engineering. Michael holds bachelor's degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Physics from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
