Parag Sarfare has over 15 years of experience in software engineering, primarily focused on storage and filesystem technologies. Currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at NetApp since June 2008, Parag specializes in scale-out storage solutions, including the development of a persistent tiering subsystem for high-performance workloads and a key-value store designed to accelerate distributed storage. Previous experience includes a software engineering internship at Syncsort, where Parag developed a universal product driver installer for various Linux distributions, and a role as a Senior Software Engineer at Calsoft, where responsibilities included designing kernel modules for filesystem journaling systems and creating a virtual traffic generator for SAN frontend virtualization. Parag holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
