Paul Freeman

Paul Freeman is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and architectural design. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer/Architect at NetApp since November 2017, Paul is instrumental in transitioning a single-tenant application to a multi-tenant, microservice-based SaaS offering named CloudInsights. Prior to this, Paul was a Technical Leader at Cisco, where leadership was provided in developing the Cisco Defense Orchestrator cloud platform, and held various engineering leadership roles at FireForge, including Lead Engineer/Architect/Technical Director for the Mber platform. Paul's career also includes significant contributions to the development of SaaS solutions at 38 Studios and a range of engineering roles at Kronos Inc., where innovative architectural approaches were employed. Additionally, Paul co-founded Leucas Software LLC to explore new technologies and has a strong educational background with a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
