Ramesh Uppuluri

Ramesh Uppuluri is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in cloud-native applications and data management. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at NetApp since October 2007, Ramesh leads a team focused on developing Astra, a cloud-native SaaS product for managing Kubernetes applications. Ramesh has held various titles at NetApp, including Software Architect, Software Engineer Technical Lead, Software Research Development Manager, and Technical Lead, contributing to numerous projects in data analytics, big data engineering, and infrastructure for distributed storage systems. Prior to NetApp, Ramesh was a Principal Software Engineer at Netcordia and held lead software engineering roles at Laurel Networks and FORE Systems / Marconi. Ramesh completed a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University from 1981 to 1985.
