Robert Stanton

Robert Stanton, Jr. has extensive leadership experience in both military and corporate environments. Currently serving as Chief of Staff and Senior Director of Business Operations and Planning at NetApp since November 2019, Robert leads a team that supports the Product Group and acts as Chief of Staff to the Chief Product Officer. Prior roles at NetApp included Chief of Staff for various divisions, where Robert significantly contributed to revenue growth and strategic planning. Military service includes leadership as Battalion Commander in the US Army, where Robert managed over 600 soldiers and a substantial budget, and served in various capacities that involved strategic planning and operations during multiple deployments. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science in Philosophy/Literature and Nuclear Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a Master's in Public Administration from John Jay College (CUNY).
